October 2, 2018, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Pittsburgh Botanic Garden
Join us for an informational and interactive evening at the Botanic Gardens and learn why you should always go Green before Grey. Landscapers, Contractors, Homeowners, Garden Clubs, Scouts and anyone else that would like to learn. Presenters from Penn State Extension, as well as the Conservation District, will show you how to properly take care of property and gardens to prevent pollution in our waterways. Take extra measures like installing rain gardens or not mowing a stream bank and see how you can even IMPROVE the water quality. Landscapers: Advertise to your clients that your company has been trained to install environmentally friendly projects.
Stroll through the beautiful gardens afterwards. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
Presented by: Coraopolis and Oakdale Boroughs, Crescent, Hopewell, Moon, Findlay, North Fayette Townships, Allegheny Watershed Alliance
