  1. Honey Party

    October 6, 2018, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM @ Activity Center - Upper Level

We encourage you and your kids to attend this unique party hosted by “Beefuddled Farms”. The idea for honey parties came about because harvesting honey is no small feat and many hands make for light work! When people were invited over to share in the bounty of honey they asked a lot of questions about everything there was to ask about bees. Our most treasured attendees are kids! They ask the greatest questions such as "Does the Queen bee wear a crown?". When you attend a honey party you should expect to: Have fun! Learn all about bees and honey Eat the honey you help harvest on top of vanilla ice cream Get great, simple ideas for how everyone can help to protect pollinators and everyone goes home with a sample honey of jar. There are 2 ways to register. Call the Recreation Department or contact Beefuddled Farms (call, text or email) 412-501-3233 or Please register by September 18th, no WALK-INS.
